....and if they got it wrong and didn't install 3.73's on mine, then I'll bitch & moan and have them install 4.56 or 4.88's while they're opening the diffs up. I'd actually be fine paying for the gears + install kits and have them front the labor costs...

Yeah you definitely got schlonged then.

Could be worse. Window sticker might have said "wrangler" on it but it could have ended up being a "compass" instead. That's the loaner car the dealership stuck me with while my rig was getting warranty work done for the last 7.5 days. The compass is a POS

i think youd need to suffer damages to actually get much in a suit . unless you lost sleep and then couldnt go to work due to the loss of sleep . lol i doubt yould find a attorney that would take the case !

If you have Dana 35s in that Rubicon somebody swapped something. Keep in mind also, you wont feel much of a difference due to the rubicons have bigger tires to balance that feeling between the sport/sahara vs rubicon. You cant get 410 in a dana 35 from factory...and you only can get Dana 44 w/410 in a rubicon. Unless they can sweet talk Chrysler to special build wich is unlikely. At least not from the factory. I have 23 yrs at Jeep Factory. Hope this helps.
Where's my aspirin? lol

Late model Rubicon's had the option to get 3.73's. Also, I think you meant to say D30 as JK's never came with D35's but you already know that from your time at Jeep.

I know, right? I distinctly remember when I ordered my 2012 sport that you could get an option that had 3.73 in the Rubicon. Someone is spewing bad info.

Older Rubicons only came with 4.10 diffs, new Rubicons with automatics come with 3.73 unless you order with the 4.10.

Non Rubicons still have the D44 rear housing, but have the D30 front.

Used to be able to order any non-Rubicons with 3.73, (at least through 2010) don't know about now.

Only ratios I know of from the factory in the JK are 3.21 3.73 and 4.10 and the 4.10, like you said, was only available in the Rubicon. Again I do not know about Willys, Mountain, Dragon, or any of the other new special editions possibly having a 4.10 option.

JK does not, and never has, come with a D35... only a D30.
