you should try living in Florida during love bug season. It last a couple months and they are like acid they cover your car and eat the paint if you don't wash them off right away. The windshield is like trying to wash off glue it just smears. I feel your pain.

I just keep a spray bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide ready. Makes cleanup a breeze

I have a bug deflector on my jeep n boch wipers and it works great for me

Front bumper.

My wife picked up a few that were half dollar sized. Fricken buggers were filled with oil and superglue it seemed! Took me forever, some rubbing compound and lots of beer.

(Beer was for me)

Finally, windshield time. Has to use a scotchbrite pad, mineral spirits and more beer. I keep the Jeep waxed and with Rain-X too!

Hour later and 6 beers for a bumper and a windshield all clean. Today on her way home from work she send me a text. "SPLAT"

Told her to stop for beer.....
