Default Broken door screw

Took my doors off for the first time the other day and the screws were really stuck on there, so of course I exerted just enough force to break one of them off. Is there an easy fix for this?

Replacement hinges are sold at most of the online parts stores

So i would take off the whole hinge? Then have it painted.. Blablabla. Do you think it'll be okay if I just leave it? The other screw/ hinge on the door is fine.

I never put my screws back on the doors anyway. I'd leave it as is. No one will ever know. I understand you're frustration though. It'd hack me off too.

If you really want one. the part number is 55395702AD

It's pressed in from the top down.

I took my "nuts" off my door pins the first day and never put them back on.

So apparently no one is afraid of their doors just falling off like I initially was. Haha

On a different note... I had read a thread on the forum about rusty hinges. That MOPAR was warranty replacing and painting. After looking at the pic more closely. This may be a candidate. It looks like the paint is bubbling and it never should've broken. I'll look for it on here. Good luck. Let us know if u pursue this route.

I never have the "nuts" on, I'm not sure if I even still have them! Nothing to worry about.

I did this once.
I ground the stud down, drilled it, tapped it for the nut and inserted stainless all thread. Been holding strong ever since. I thin it's actually stronger than what stock hinges are.
