Brake grinding....
When i go around a curve or get off an exit ramp where most of the weight is shifted to the left side, my front left brake makes a grinding sound that would be usually reserved for worn out brake pads. Its not my pads, they look brand new, the rotors look fine also. Any suggestions? Its an 07 2 door X

i jacked it up a few days ago to check it out and there is no play in the wheel, its not the ESP (the esp is much more pleasant and usually does a good job of slowing me down) also it feels like if i pushed down on the brake pedal while its doing this, it might rip something out

Might it be the unit bearing failing? When you're turning and putting a side load on the bearing it may be making the noise. I'd pull everything off that corner and really examine the unit bearing and then reassemble it all and make sure all of the bolts are torqued to spec.
Or if it's under warranty and unmodified I'd let the service dept figure it out.

I think you solved one of my worries. Whenever I take a sharp turn my steering freaks out and the wheel wiggles. I think this might be the ESP freaking out.

Yep, that's the ESP trying to put the brakes on for ya. It seems to think I am going too fast around curves or turns and dictates the breaking sensation. Maybe I am going too fast, , you must be going too fast too
