When you are cancelling your signal you are moving the lever just enough back in the opposite direction to trigger the 3 blinks. Just be more careful

Thanks guys, I tried it on my way home from work.. And it did exactly what ya'll are sayin... I like it now, I think i may use that feature more!

When I'm behind you and you're not using blinkers, then you end up pushed off the road, you may rethink using em!

It took me some getting used to, too, but on the highway changing lanes, this is really handy. I think that we got this little "feature" from Mercedes before the Daimler-Chrysler divorce...

Default drunk blinking

it's easy to get caught in the left, right, left, right, left, right turn signal madness and then end up just snapping the damn turn lever off. i came real close!

it's a 3 second 'feature' that obviously has some bugs and i could do without.

This is one of those love it or hate it things.
I've had a number of German vehicles over the years, and they have all had this lane change feature. I've always loved it.

I love this feature...if you can't keep it under control than you're obviously hitting your blinker lever too hard.

I think this feature is great. When I drive my wife's car, I get agitated when her blinkers don't work like that.
