I know this may seem stupid, but we are about to venture to a 4 door Wrangler. Around here, they are getting hard to come by in my budget range. We currently have a black 2 door and in the past, more Wranglers than I can count. Just about all of them black. What are the Pros and Cons do you think going Billit Silver? Probably going to be our last New Wrangler. Want to do it right so I'm not unhappy in the long run. Please, understand, its a big undertaking for us.

I'm in the same boat as you. I currently have a Baja yellow JKR and I'm looking into a JKU Willys in billet. I know it will be easy to keep clean, but the biggest thing for me is flying under the radar while on my vacations/adventures. The bright yellow draws a lot of attention and I'm looking to be a little more low key this time,

I have a 2016 JKUS in Billet and I love it. I used to have a 2012 JKU in Bright Silver, but didnt like it as much. Billet has a certain depth to it that makes it great.

I love my '13 in Billet. I bought it thinking it would be an easier color to keep clean and hide scratches since it's bit metallic. Unfortunately, my jeep is usually dirty dirty DIRTY! LOL. Another thing I like about the billet is it gives you various options as far as accessory coloring. Black bumpers and such look fine on it, but you can paint/powder coat items in a dark grey or anthracite and it really stands out as a slight 2-tone. A lot of the colors are hard to match if you go powder coating route. I kinda like being a little more subtly and flying under the radar myself as well, but my jeep tends to stick out in the little area I live in outside of town. Pretty sure the cops recognize me every time they see me on the road.

Here's a pic of mine with PS crusher corners, rear bumper, GenRight fender deletes, and Ace inner liners powder coated in anthracite. I've used Rust-Oleum Flat Steel rattle can paint to finish my sliders to make touch up easier, and on my front bumper as I have plans to change that out at some point and didn't want to pay to powder coat a "rental". The Rust-Oleum is a very close match to the powder coat. I plan to remove all my door handles and such to paint them as well just for a slightly different look from everyone else. (I hadn't painted the sliders yet when these pictures were taken)
