i wouldnt think very long (never done it, dont have a hard top) but i would think they would be a major pita to store in the jeep which would probably take longer than actually removing them.

Yea... removing the panels is maybe a minute. Then sliding them each into the protective bag is another minute or two. I try to be careful so as not to scratch or chip them, so maybe 4 minutes total. They store really nice in bag in the back of a 4 door, flat on the cargo floor.

I found that a twin size flat sheet fits nicely over thge opening.
Looks stupid, but does the job. It is held in place by closing the doors over it. Keeps the leaves and bird crap out.

You can always get screen door replacement fabric. buy the width you need, cut the length and close one end in the door, through over the top and close the other side in the door. ventilation and keeps leaves out.

I know the feeling. When every I park where leaves are they set off the alarm if set. The alarm is nice in that it keeps people from being able to reach in and take stuff, but it is a pain if there are trees nearby.

Build yourself something. Use some screen door fabric as suggested by another poster, and add some bungees (thin ones) to anchor it. You'll keep the leaves out, it'll be simple to stretch from one side to the next between sport bars, and you may even get some shade from it.

A custom canvas shop I deal with for the boat place said he made a piece that slides into a windshild channel and clips onto the hardtop with some snaps. Seems easy enough.

I wonder if you can use the front part of the 4 dr version with the hardtop, minus the freedom panels? Also, I didn't see any prices. Anyone have an idea at what these cost?
