Let the engine cool all the way down the spray it all down really good with mean green decreaser. Let it set for about 20 min them spray it off.

Gunk engine degreaser works wonders. It's nasty shit but does a great job.

I let the mill cool right down, place a plastic bag over the air intake, and the alternator.

Fill a liquid fertilizer spray bottle with dish soap, and soak it down, let it stand 20 min, rinse, and start...let it run until dry.

Use sunlight and it will smell nice too like lemmons.

I always follow upp with a silicon spary on hoses, weather stripping to ensure they are kept soft.

If you use the widest spray nozzle (white in my set) and don't get too close with it. You may have noticed that a pressure washer can inflict damage beyond FUBAR.
