Default Best way to clean mud spots off fenders?

My buddy took his ruby out yesterday and got some red mud on his fenders. He washed it and he said it's still not coming out and he scrubbed pretty good. You can see it on the fenders still.

How do you guys get the spots out?

I use mother's back to black. When you use it, scrub with the rough part of a sponge and then massage with the soft part of the sponge. You can pick the stuff up at any Checkers or Autozone. I'm a Checkers guy and they always have the stuff.
