Default Update from Dealer 12/20

Got the call from the service writer.

They want to install a new battery wiring harness, P/N 56051599AC @ $115 + $300 labor ($95/hr labor rate)
That part is double cost, I know already.

I told him "Well, something made those wires melt". He replied that they had to start somewhere!

I think this is going to end up costing a fortune to fix.

Waking an old thread but i have that same damn issue. accelerating on a cold motor that damn battery light flashes and the jeep will barely maintain speed. shut the key off and back on and it goes away. Really frustrating.
