Is this bad? Or does something need to be tightened?

I noticed oil seeping out of my rear differential case (correct term I believe). I have been beating the hell out of this thing on the trails and noticed a few bumps under there.... Is this oil just from the cover getting loose or is it a sign of something else???

If it's dripping on the ground you may have peeled back the cover a little and now it has a tiny leak. You should probably address this issue pretty quick. not a huge deal just pull the diff scrape off the excess gasket that's on there apply new gasket and bolt back up and torque down. Here this will help.
