Is this a bad axle U-joint on my D30?
I have done some research and this sounds to me like bad U-joints on the front axle. Can anyone confirm from the video I took yesterday? I jacked up the front and spun the tires but there did not appear to be any play in the u-joint itself and I couldn't replicate the noise. Also, is there a write-up on replacing these -- I couldn't find one. It seems like an easy job however I dont have a press or a vise to press the new ones in. Can it be done with a C-clamp?
