Why?

Have you looked at your back door vent? Mine (09) isn't bolted, it is held in by plastic clips. Well, it is bolted now, but only because I broke the plastic clips and needed something to hold it on.

Has there been some sort of aesthetic change or something?

Mine has the little flapper vents and they are starting to fall off so i was just wondering what the newer ones looked like.. Does anyone know if any of the back door "tramp stamps" totally replace the vent? like the vector one?

Just took mine off tonight. 2010 still has the flappers. My new PS tramp stamp replaces the vent. From what I understand the vector stamp is spaced from the gate allowing air in the sides. The PS is flush, the stamp opening is covered by my plate right now. Bits only 2 small slits though, not a lot of air moving anyway.
