Thanks for this big info.
where did you get the factory service manual for the 545RFE ?
It is true that I did replace the oil filter as in the write up.
What could be the problem if the "o ring" is installed on the neck of the filter instead of the transmission ?
Regards

I only know the book is quite specific about not doing it that way.

The 545RFE is very sensitive to fluid levels, double check it after filling. Also make sure the electrical connection on the outside of the transmission is fully seated and latched. There is a lever that is on the electrical connector, make sure it is in the right position.

The problem is that you will suck air into the transmission. The o ring fits in really tight. I would pull the pan, and double check that the old o ring is out, then install the new o ring. The new one will be tight going in, you will probably have to tap it in, make sure it is fully seated. You may have to use a flashlight to see the old seal.

For those with a diesel engine, it is very difficult to unscrew the 3 screws in the rear of the pan. You must take off the skid plate, then support the transfert case in order to have more room for your fingers. The Transmission support doesn't have holes corresponding to the emplacement of the 3 screws ! So it is faster to take off the the transmission support as well. I tried both method !
Althought for the french jeepers, be careful as the french dealers service your JK with MOTUL Dextron instead of MOPAR ATF+. It happened to me and : you have to wait the fluid to warm before engaging gear when starting in the morning... "Hot Oil" warning when in 4WD Low driving !!!
They don't tell you that they use "compatible" fluid and invoice you Mopar.
I found out when the parts department tried to sell me Motul fluid instead of Mopar ATF+
Anyway thanks to all of you for your advice.
