Anyone using a Hoist-a-Top?
I'm considering buying one of those hard top removal hoists because it can be pretty annoying calling your girl for help everytime you want to go topless! i've seen a couple of companies out there but I'm curious as to which one is best and easy to install. I don't need anything too fancy like electric pulleys and stuff. Just something manual, quick and easy to use. (with instructions!!)

I was in the "hey honey can you give me a hand with something" boat for quite a while. I figured it was only a matter of time before the top was dropped or the jeep was dented putting it back on. I bought the Harken lift from Quadratec. $143 with tax and shipping. It takes less than 10 minutes to remove or reinstall the top and my wife has zero issue with the straight forward operation. The nice thing about the Harken and some of the other premade lift systems verses what I was going to build is that they have a built in safety that if the line is dropped it locks the rope so no issue with your top ending up down without a jeep under it. I'd suggest calling them if are serious about buying, Quadratec bases their shipping off of price not weight. I got the shipping cut in half after simply asking that common sense be applied.
