The stock Sahara tires are 255/70R18. So those tires are the same width and about 1" taller (34" total height).

If you are running stock suspension you might have rubbing problems.

But that is on an 18" rim. I think the 255/80R17 are a little under 33.5". I am considering this size myself, but I am not sure I want an E load tire....

Agreed. That is why I said the 17's are about 1" taller.

I figure that close enough to see how they look.

Load Range E tires are by design going to be stiffer than lower rated tire of the same model, but there are some differences between brands and models depending on sidewall design.

IMO, the metric tires also tend to be slighter more compliant than the LT tires.

I've been looking for this size for my '07 Sahara U. I haven't been able to find any. Did you? Where and what brand/type?

Interested in this size as well. Anyone aware of offerings other than the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire in this size?

Thanks,

Are you running the Coopers with a lift installed?

Wow, that's the EXACT look I want. I was just looking at the rough country 2.5 inch coil kit with shocks. How do you like the Rough Country Stuff?

The BFG KM2s fit under the Rubicon with no lift and work great. I've got a little over 35,000 miles on a set - nice thing is you don't need spacers either.
