Default Anyone paint their muffler?

Has anyone here painted their stock muffler to hide it?

It sticks out like a sore thumb from behind, especially with a black jeep.

Any tips on paint and does it actually adhere over time?

Or will it just turn into a blotchy baked mess?

Any one with pics?

Thanks.

There is heat resistant spray paint like for BBQ grills and such that would probably work. I had a can, maybe I'll try it if I find it.

Search function! lol Don't you hate hearing that? I know I did, but I believe in Modified there's an entire thread on it.

Long story short many have done it, I personally used high temp engine paint from Pep Boys, flat black. Holding up great. Did it about a month or so ago. While it's a little thing, in my opinion it's worth the 5 bucks you'll spend on a can of paint.

Did it 3 months ago. Looks good and holds up well. Used Rust Oleum BBQ high heat spray.

Sorry, forgot about the search function. The "other forum" took away that function unless you want to pay for it.

lol I was just kidding anyway, I hate hearing that. Most of the time it's true, but sometimes you don't want to sort through 20 pages of threads that might not apply.

Paint it up, you'll be glad you did.
