Default Anyone have head gasket oil residue?

The other day I noticed that I had some oil residue at the front side of my driver side head gasket. The residue was heavier at the gasket and ran down side the block a little ways. I sprayed the area with degreaser, rinsed it off, and let it dry. Its been about 4 days and 100 miles, and I can see oil starting to collect at the head gasket again near the little brass ring. I then whipped out my mirror and flashlight and found that I have some oil residue at the rear of the same head gasket. I tried my best to look at the passenger side head gasket with the mirror and light but couldn't see the head gasket. Does anyone else have this problem with their jk? My jk is an Aug. '08 build with 6200 miles. I don't want to take it to the dealer just yet since it is such a small amount of oil.

That sounds oddly familiar. You should read this thread.

Thank porters. Was it your driver or passenger side head that was leaking? I guess I'll go see what my dealership has to say. I have an appointment coming up anyways. They are going to be replacing my leaking steering stabilizer and e-disco.
