Default Anyone ever blow a nut?

Well............

Flat Tire Style:



This ever happen to anyone? Do I have to break the bead to fix this or can I just throw a new nut on and tighten 'er up? 2009 with 61 000km on it. Didn't even know these were two pieces.

Ummmm all the time but I prefer to use the term "bust"

This had to be a case of a busted nut though right? It doesn't look like it will thread over the valve stem cap, and my cap is still there.....is that a common problem? Do the newer style TPMS have a different setup?

One of the TPMS nuts on mine cracked, but it didn't fall off. I installed a new nut (got from the dealer for $3). The threads were a little messed up, but it threaded on and hasn't lost any air.

Yeah, like those threads that pop up here from time to time with titles along the lines of "having problems with my tranny; she's getting hot & I think she may be about to blow; anyone else ever experience this?". I get so disappointed when I excitedly click on it only to find some fool needs to install a auxilliary transmission fluid cooler...
