Anyone convert the tailgate from a swing-out to a drop-down style?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a summer project and I'd really like to convert my tailgate from it's current swing out style to a "pick-up truck-like" drop down tailgate. Does anyone know of a conversion kit and any viable options for the spare tire? I'd like to refrain from having to purchase a whole conversion kit PLUS a new rear bumper PLUS a tire swing. I was hoping someone had tried (and succeeded in) a DIY option for the conversion but if not, then so be it, no worries...any advice at all would be much appreciated!
