Anyone broken their front Dana 30 with stock tires??
I have no plans to get bigger than stock tires but am going to upgrade my axle ratio to give a slightly higher crawl ratio. Question is, do I upgrade just the axle ratio or go all out and get the Dana 44 and be done with it?? Anyone broken the Dana 30 with stock tyres?
My current plans for the car are to regear to 4.11 and add an arb air locker to the back. I don't have rubicon trail style rock hopping plans but do intend to get myself into some pretty remote places with shitty washed out dirt roads and steep hills...

No. People run 35s on them all the time and wheel them pretty hard with no issues. There might be the occasional failure with 35s, but its not common. You won't have any issues with stock sized tires.

hell no
i run 32 on a stock x and gone to some nice parks and done black trails with stock tires and the 32 and no issues, if you go through a lot of water then change fluid in your axles
