Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle Question
#21
Alright, so I tore the rear diff apart and replaced the clutch packs. I didn't take any measurements because I didn't want gear lube on my calipers, but the old clutch packs were noticeably thinner. With the new packs installed the wheels do rotate in the same direction with the jeep in neutral and the wheels off the ground. I hope this helps someone in the future.

how long did it take to replace the clutch packs as we have never pulled out a LSD and taken it apart. did it take any special tools? did you get only the clutch plates from the jeep dealer and no other parts and if so how much did they cost?
but your post really helped as we faced the same situation which is strange with such low miles and no off-road use.
