Another Stupid Rubi vs Stock Coil Question
Hey Guys
I have a 08 JKUX with tow package. I just ordered the TF Leveling kit (spacers only). I was thinking of buying a set of Rubi Coils at the same time, they are 18 fronts and 59 rears. Mine currently are 15/16 fronts and 58 rears.
My question is how much of a difference will I see between the 15/16 versus the 18s? My guess is the rears will be barely noticable (goning from 58s to 59s).
Is it worth the 150$ for the coils?
Thanks
J

That's pretty steep for coils... I got shocks and coils for less than that. I went from 13/14 to 17's in front and 55 to 59 in rear and gained about 2" over my original ride height.

I am thinking the I may pick up an inch on the 15/16 to 18s in the front... but just not sure if it will be worth it.

I got about half an inch going from 16s to 19s but i also have a aftermarket front bumper.. They are stiffer coils though so the ride and offroad should be a little better (I also installed rubi shocks tho)

I was happy with my results, but again I went up by 4 on front and back... I think you're right, you may pickup an inch on the front. Doubt you'll see anything rear. $100 might be better put towards some aftermarket coils if you're really looking for height.

I think I will just put the leveling kit in, then see if I need to upgrade the coils and shocks.
