for months now i have an annoying ticking when the ac is turned on. i had a look today and got the ac fan out and thought some wire would be hitting the fan but found it is coming from inside the motor and i have no idea how to get into the motor and solve the problem.
anyone have a similar problem or no of any ways to solve it?

Not sure if its the same type fan motor but I had this problem with a dodge ram. Bought a new fan motor it was sealed and could not be repaired

 

Yes I think it's the same thing impossible to get into I think I'll have to do the same and get a new one. How much was it if u don't mind me asking?
