Air Conditioning Question
Just curious as to whether anyone has experienced something similar to what I am. I have a 13 JKUR that periodically will cycle the A/C output level down from from the setting I have it on to the lowest setting. Within a few seconds it comes back foul strength. It never turns completely off just spools down. I do not have the auto, attic climate control so that's not factoring in to it. Just curious as to whether anyone else was experiencing this. I know if I bring it to the stealership I'll waste a few hours and get the standard "Could not duplicate" response. That and it doesn't actually turn off so I'm not sure I actually have an issue or if its just the compressor or something doing what the widget was designed to do.

Yeah foul vs full. iPhone ninja got me. Good to know I'm not the only one this happens to. Certainly not often enough nor severe enough to warrant wasting my time with the stealership.

Happens to mine too. There's a huge thread over at Wrangler Forum as well with people who have the same issue. So far no one has found the problem or had a dealer be able to fix it, so I'm just dealing with mine since I see no need to drop it off for a day for them to find nothing.

Has happened on my 2012 4 dr since new, 9000 miles and still happens 2 to 3 times a week. Dealer has replaced relays and controls and also BCM. BCM was replaced 2 times already but did it when picked up from dealership after repair. I have also found out that it seems to do it more when I'm under acceleration from a stop or light or having to accelerate to pass. Good luck to everyone that has the issue, it will be on going and never go away. Oh yeah I have a brand new 2013 4 dr and it is doing it as well, my Grand Cherokee does it also.
