Air conditioning issue
Went on a couple trails last weekend nothing hard core, just some simple dirt trails to drive around for a while. After awhile my jeep overheated. Following that this week my air conditioning seems not to be working right. When the air is on it isn't blowing cold air, just air that is semi cool I would say. I'm going to try and swing by the shop tomorrow if they are open but any ideas would be a great help.

What was it that overheated?
Regarding the A/C being only cool, and not cold...
Get a temp reading at the center outlet, and post it.
I would also pull the evaporator temp bulb, and insert a thermometer to see if it reads nearly freezing.
The temp bulb is located near the gas pedal, in the center section.
If the thermometer reads near freezing, the problem may be the mixing door is not operating correctly.

Most likely you cooling fan isn't working properly. If your over heating, this will also effect your AC. Start your jeep, turn on the AC and see if you cooling fan is working, it should be working. If your going to have to look into the fan issue.

Temp gauge was all the way over and smoke, when I popped the hood, you could hear the coolant boiling pretty much. The fan on radiator is still kicking on just fine.

First, could you update your profile so we know what year/model we're talking about here, including transmission type. With Ron, you have to explain what makes you think you were overheating.

My bad I have a 2011 2dr sport standard. And the temp gauge was maxed, when I opened the hood smoke came out, and the light above the temp gauge went off.
