I could not agree more with Sgt P Those of us who would give up body parts for the love of our jeeps and our sport don't care to hear the negativity

I had an 06 Rubicon with a 6 spd , I now have an 07 X; I would not hesitate to take my 07 everywhere I went in the 06.
SO; with that said in my personal opinion I don't consider an 06 even a Rubicon to be an upgrade.
My personal opinion is the 08 for sure.

a/c smell
I'm having a similar prob. It's kind of a vinegary scent, and it seems to go away after few minutes. Only happens when the jeep has sat for a day or two. I took it to the dealer, they said it was "normal" cause the jeep is still "new". should I be worried about this?

I worked at a car dealership years ago and was welcomed to all the wonderful different smells that people added to their rides. If you have to go with a spray I would recommend Fabreeze over most. Lysol at the very bottom of that list. The coolest and most refreshing that I've smelled was someone sprayed their favorite cologne/perfume on a paper towel and stuffed it in(or near) the A/C's intake. The sent doesn't last all that long though. You have to renew it once a week or so. Also a great smelling dryer sheet (believe it or not). The dryer sheet near the intake duct trick is probably the longest lasting of all good smelling tricks I've seen. And anymore there are so many great new smells from those things.
