Default AC Help

Hey guys,

So my AC in my 2013 JK isn't blowing correctly. When I drive 20+ mph cool air will slightly come out of the vents but with barley any power, when I come to a stop no air comes out at all. The fuse is good and I just replaced the blower fan motor and still nothing. Any one have any other suggestions or helpful tips?

Thanks in advance!

If the blower motor fan is testing correctly then it's being blocked possibly by a vent or blend door. I had this on a 2004 WJ where the blend door fell off completely and laid on top of the frame for the blower motor therefore blocking it.

The fan isn't even working, I replaced the old one and it still doesn't run.

Testing the blower motor is easy as you can just run it on high with out it installed and you will see and hear the fan going. Watch your hands.

Next would be a test light to the fuse and then harness and check for power. I believe you will get different numbers as the fan spins on higher power.

Did you test old fan before you replaced?

If you have an ohm meter, check ground connections

Yea that's the weird fuse I had to replace on my girls WJ. It was a ceramic fuse that I soldered together. It was right under the dash.
