? about TSB's
I'm fairly new to this but I was wondering. Do we have to wait until we receive a recall notice to take our JK's in to the dealerships or can we just print out any TSB from this site? And will it be honored at any dealership? I have a recall notice for the Electronic Brake Module but I've also noticed that I'm experiencing some of the other problems listed on the "green" TSB list. What am I supposed to be doing? I definately want to make sure my $30k vehicle is tafen care of !!!

Go to link below (Jeep website) and put in your VIN. If you have a recall that applies - your dealer will show the same thing in their database and will perform needed "thing". If your speaking only of TSB's - only luck I have ever had is to have dealership duplicate "issue" and then hand them TSB and announce (as politely as possible) that I will be in the waiting room until the service department is done.

They have to be able to recreate the problem for themselves.
A TSB is sent out to the service departments to notify them of fixes for known issues with the vehicle. They are not serious safety issues though, so a recall is not done.
Recall means they have to do it, a TSB just means that if the customer is having the symptoms described in the TSB, this is how you fix it. TSB's should be free if you are in your warranty period.
