Default Average price for an 09 Rubicon?

Hey guys, I have a 2004 Rubicon now, but my dad just got my Mom a 2008 4 door, and now I want a JK, lol. Anyway I went to the Jeep dealer Monday and got a few prices, they want $38,000 for a new Rubicon . No I didn't sit down and try to talk him down any, because I didn't want to do the deal that day before doing some more research (this site is awesome by the way).

My question is, what the normal price for an 09 Rubicon? this one was loaded, dual top, nav system, etc... but $38,000 seems a little steep seeing as it was only $30,200 on the site. If some of you don't mind letting me know what you payed for your jeep it would be very helpful!

Thanks
Jake

Waiting on my 2010 2 door rubicon to be built. Dealer is giving me it for 30K flat, plus whatever incentives jeep has yet to put out for 2010. Considering they have 2 '09 rubis listed for $40K (some of the soldiers around here will pay anything!) i wasn't TOO upset. Still haven't paid or signed anything, what do you guys think? This will be my 3rd wrangler (2nd rubi), but my first NEW one.

I paid $19k for a used sahara with only 6k miles on her..... for the extra $10k a rubi would have easily cost me I am building my rig better..... and it is more fun to build it IMO.... plus the Sahara has nice seats!

About three months ago, I paid $28,000 cash for my '09 Rubicon. It was sold by a relatively small-town-dealership; the sticker price was $32,860.

I paid $17K for a used 2008 2 door rubi, fully loaded, both tops, with only 1,200 miles on it. It has already climb up to 12k to the continental divide and willl be hitting up 4 trails this weekend. So far, I am very happy with the performace. If only I was a good 4wheeler. But I am in a great 4wheel club and they are helping me learn the ropes.
