Question About to install Big boy seat brackets
About to install Big boy seat brackets soon and while it is a straight forward procedure my concern is whit the seat air bags I have.

The procedures call for neutralizing the air bags by removing the negative battery cable for 30 min. (makes sense) before removing seat.

While searching on what could/does happen with the battery disconnected so long. radio 430n needing recoding, etc.

Has anyone had their battery disconnected for a a long period of time and can comment on what happened?

2013 JKU, 430N, side (seat) air bags

I would just disconnect the side airbag harness under the seat. It's not like its going to go off when you unplug it.

Just unplug, that's what I would think too

The instructions state to disconnect battery for 30 min.

I had my battery disconnect for a week when did my clutch waiting for flywheel come in. You will lose any stored music but that's it
