Seems every Jeep is a little different. I put a 2.5" BB on my 2-door, 35's, 4.5" BS wheels. I rubbed the air dam. Two choices: trim it, or remove it. I just took it off (super easy). Jeep looks better without it anyway.
If you've got money for 35's, why not spend $250 for a TF 2.5" BB?

I prefer not to do a BB, and don't want to get into a lift yet, so if this won't work I'm either forced to go ahead and get a lift or go down a size to 33's. Has anyone tried doing this?? any input would be greatly appreciated.

are you speaking from experience? I'm considering doing 35's, flat fenders, and a leveling kit on my '10 rubi. I've heard that I need to trim pinch seams and the rubi rails(which I'm fine with doing), but otherwise I'm still not sure if this setup will work or not. I think it would work on a sport without disconnects, but on a rubi with the swaybar disconnected, will it still clear, or will it rub? I do wheel often and I use my swaybar disconnect often, so I'm concerned that without a 2.5" lift I will rub..?

well I got 35's on mine without any lift and just flat fenders. Finally, still lifting it 2.5" but the lift hasn't arrived yetAttachment 541279Attachment 541280
what is your wheels BS ?
Did you wheel it to see if it has any rubbing while flexing ?

Wheels BS is 3.75", tires are 35x12.50x15 so they don't actually measure 35" tall they are under
No rubbing, I took it out and flexed it a little with no issue. I haven't been in any max flex situations yet so idk about that. I'm still lifting it, I want more suspension travel anyway, but I got impatient waiting for the lift to come from Rock Krawler and curious if they would fit without it

lol yeah it's a rubi, a guy I work with put 5.13 (he says) in his for 35's and continually tries to tell me how I need to change my gears blah blah. I personally love it with the 4.10's, feels better than it did on the stock size tires.
