Help! My 2008 JK has been at the dealer since January waiting for a new motor. It has 160k miles, still under the "lifetime drivetrain warranty" Dealer says that parts are not available. They said it has spun a main bearing and needs block replaced. Any ideas? I did an "escalation" with Jeep Chrysler and was given a case number but no other help so far.

Is the Lifetime Drivetrain warranty from FCA JEEP or is it a FCA Service Contract? When the dealer says it is not available does he clarify is it on Back Order or is it NS . Not Serviced.. Find out. If it is a service Contract Suggest YOU get out the contract, look up the Service Contract phone number and request that a MOPAR Remanufactured engine be Authorized... If it is the Factory provided Lifetime Drivetrain Warranty then there are toll free numbers you should be calling:
