So, since neither of your axles are a JK d30 with 3.21's, you will not need a new carrier.

But, before you regear one end, have you considered just gearing both? There are about a gajillion threads on gearing. Very common recommendations for 3.8's on 35's are to go with 5.13 or 4.88 for auto's, and 4.88 or 4.56 for manuals. Put some consideration into this before spending money on 3.73's or 4.10's.

And, while the axles are torn apart is generally a good time to think about adding traction. And you may as well think about gussets/sleeves/truss. And ...
Thank you for that info sir! I am on a pretty tight budget and am just trying to get this thing to go into 4wd without binding...I am definatly be looking into those other threads...What is a Gusset/sleeve/truss? they help traction?

No they are axle reinforcement. Gussets go on the c's and a truss ties the axle tubes/pumpkin better together so to speak. A sleeve is like making your axle walls thicker.

I didn't want to say it... BUT, I went from 3.21s open front and rear to a swapped front trussed and gusseted D44, regeared to 4.88 front and rear, rubicon factory front locker and ARB rear locker... And it's pretty sweet, food for thought...

I think the OP has calculated 34.6", which are probably under 34".

Previous BF Goodrich tires have typically been a bit small. My 35"s were actually 34". Has this changed?
Did you calculate, or actually measured the 34.5", and at what psi ?

Gears and install kits can be had for about $650.
Arb locker is about $1200
I got a steal on my axle and stop posted what I paid because people keep asking how and all you need to do is shop around.
A Rubi axle built isn't worth over $1000 to me including the locker. Some people argue but it's only worth whatever you can get for it. Pick a price and don't budge, negotiating goes both ways
