I have the pizza cutter KM2 tires, with a TF leveling kit and no spacers, and have been very pleased with their performance.
As already noted, they are stiffer tires, and the JKUR definitely handles a bit differently.
But the biggest plus for me is that I feel more confident that they will survive the rocky trails that we have out in the desert and the extra height compared to the stock KMs are an additional plus. And you don't need different rims, so another plus.

Shortly after my first post in this thread, I bought the tires. I've had them for around 20k or so, and they are wonderful. They show no noticeable wear, either. I agree, on ice or hard packed snow they slip and slide, but they dig into the deep stuff and eat it for lunch. They are simply amazing off road, and they gave up nothing in terms of ride or handling compared to the stock BFG KM's. I'm VERY happy with them.

I went from 255/80-17 to the 285/75-17 and had to lift, adjust steering stops and trim the front air dam (or you can just take it off). The 255s needed nothing to run and were great. The 285s barely (squeak when shutting the tailgate) fit with the stock bumper, they are really tight but I figure it takes some stress off the tailgate with the heavier tires. Both sets were the KM2s.

Yes, a JKUR. You are only going up 1" in diaameter, so the power difference was imperceptible, to me. I tow a boat and pop up camper, too, and it feels the same. I have a 6 speed, though. Can't speak to the auto. I went with these tires partly to avoid power loss.

I can't imagine you'd feel a difference, just going from 32 to 33 inch tires. They also aren't any wider than the original KM's, so they won't be causing additional wind resistance at highway speed. That was another consideration for me. The JK needs all the aerodynamic help it can get!

I feel my Jeep is underpowered stock with 4.10's, and the gear charts support that. Going to a 33 makes it worse. The gear chart also shows regearing to 5.13 & 33's or 35's is a recommended combination

It is all relative. The 3.8 is underpowered as is. The power loss from 32 ' s to 33's is negligible. No amount of gearing change is going to make this engine feel powerful.

Back when I went to the 255/80s from the stock 255/75s I didn't notice any change in perceived pep or power, but again that is with a 6-speed

Anyone still running these? More pics please? I see they are $250 per tire at Discount Tire Direct and am familiar with the forum discount. I simply don't have the coin for tires, wheels, gears, etc to run bigger or a need to, other than looks. I live in the desert and hit a lot of dirt roads and mild trails.
