Default 2017 JKU Electrical Issue?

A few days ago I went out to start my JK and it just clicked and made kind of a wierd noise. No start, no power. I assumed maybe the battery was dead so I used my charge pack. Jeep started up fine.

Since then while driving, the Jeep will intermittantly ding, the gauges all shut down and all the dash lights come on, then goes back to normal. It did it 5 times within a 15 minute drive today.

Any ideas?

What year is your Ride and the age of the Battery? Possible loose ground, check the bat cables for good connection.. Suggest Load Test the Battery and confirm the Alternator is in good condition - doing the Job.

You can check the alternator by using a multimeter. You should have around 14.4 volts when the engine is running.

Since your Jeep started and drove after jumping it, I’d bet money your battery is done.

Thanks all! I figured it out. My neg battery cable was loose and the little bracket to tighten the cable onto the terminal was gone. Luckily I found it still in the engine compartment!!
