2015 JKU. stock gearing ?
I've recently purchased a 2015 JKU sport. I don't have the window sticker and the dealer wasn't sure what gearing it came with from the factory. Is there any way to determine this without jacking it up and counting drive shaft revolutions? it's a sport with the 255/70r17 wheel and tire package, auto and hill assist. Also came with the factory tow package. Should it have 3.73 gearing because it has the factory tow package?
Thanks, Charlie

The dealer can, and should have printed out a build sheet right there on the spot.
Since you bought it used, the gear ratio on the build sheet may be meaningless.
Tags on the differential are not used on the JKs.
Any reason you don't want to jack one front tire off the ground? You would know the answer for sure in a few minutes.

Through the Owners section on Jeep.com you can download your buildsheet using your VIN number, it won't open right now on my phone, but I know I've looked mine up before using my actual computer, so it might just not be mobile compatible.
As stated above, this will tell you what it came with originally.
To find out if these are still the gears in the diffs, you would have to jack up and spin a tire. The other alternative is to watch your RPM at 70, and compare it to the RPM/gear charts available online. However, this method is susceptible to speedo-inaccuracy. (When I reprogrammed my Jeep for tire size I found out that from the factory it was programmed for 30in tires, because my factory tires, like all others, are not true to diameter).
The best option is still to jack it up and count the rotations.

Try this link and add your VIN after the VIN=. Not sure if it works for a 2015 but works for my 2017.
