2015 JK ticking noise in engine

2015 JK ticking noise in engine
This just started recently. Sitting at idle there is a distinct ticking noise. It increases as the engine RPMs increase as well.
visual inspection I see nothing out of sorts.
no CEL or any apparent performance degradation.
hopefully the attached video uploads for sound
any advice?

As far as video, the easiest way to post things here is to upload a video to YouTube, and then simply paste the link to the video in your post. That will embed it. Most people aren't super comfortable downloading a video file from folks on the web.
Have you probed around the engine with a mechanics stethoscope to narrow down generally where it is loudest?
