Default 2014 exhaust valve spring broke

I assume the answer is no, but any chance that Chrysler has extended, or plans to extend any warranty for the valve springs on 2014's? I know the 2012/13 have the warranty extended for left side head problems. My Jeep is about 8 months past the factory warranty, so I need to pay out of pocket.

Here's a nice picture of the spring. Anyone know the root cause of why a spring would brake?

I finally got my Jeep back. Acting like it was not getting fuel, was due to broken spring for an exhaust valve. Shop replaced the spring and put everything back together. It ran fine, but had an error code for cam position. One sensor was fine but the other gave erratic signals. They had to take the engine apart again and change the cam. Apparently the magnetization still the end of the cam was no longer her correct. Had them change the other cam on the left side as well. Seems to be running well now.
