Default 2012 rubi dealer tpms flash

So I have a 2012 and I know that I have something in my wheels because I swapped in some 2008 rubie wheels and tires and my low tire pressure light came on. How do I get my evic or little info center to tell me my pressure? Unit I can buy or a dealer flash?

2008 TPMS are NOT compatible with 2012.. You will never get it to work.
I think that is your question.

No what I was wondering was I have my 2012 and I have a "low tire pressure warning. Light" but I want to see exact readings on my little screen in my dash? Like exact pressure per tire It's not a option on mine right now so I was wondering if the dealer could flash my computer to display that?

If you want info on TPMS look up Schrader International TPMS. They make just about all TPMS in vehicles today. When I bounced my tire off a rock and broke my valve stem the dealership wanted over $100 to fix it. I told them to get bent and did my own research. Tire was fixed elsewhere for $12 ($2 for service pack and $10 to get it put in tire and balanced) and the purchase of a ProCal (to get rid of the idiot alarm when I air down). Below is listed the part numbers from Schrader International with the service pack being just the valve stem. The dealership said that they had to replace the whole sensor just because of a broken valve stem. Ignorance is bliss and it's also costly.

2013 Wrangler Part #
Sensor .................................................. 20398
Service Pack ..........................................20018

2012 Wrangler Part #
EZ-sensor - 315 MHz ............................33000
EZ-sensor Service Pack; Almnm. Valve......34000
EZ-sensor Service Pack; Rubber Valve .....20008
Sensor ...............................................200 66 or 28308
Service Pack .......................................20018

Thanks!

I'm glad now that I kept my 2012 wheels after the swap for 2013's. It looks like I'll have to swap out the sensors from the original wheels - all five. That's too bad.

My dealer service had told me that the part numbers were the same so they expected they would be comparable. They must have been thinking Service Pack and not Sensors, maybe. Looks like I'll have a set of 2013 sensors for sale.

Thanks again, and my apologies to the OP for interrupting.

The EVIC display showing actual pressure values is the Premium version, not available until the 2013s.

I think that is your question.
I believe (or, rather, I am told and have read) that there is some compatibility possible between 07-12 but I think it ends there.

(at least the part numbers are the same for '07-'08 sensors and '11-'12 sensors)(the part numbers for '09-'10 differ)

There are four kinds of TPMS sensors for JKs out there, according to part numbers.

Check for your model year and part number here:

Jeep starts on page 41.

You can plug-in the part number into Amazon automotive, like "xxxxx TPMS" and it can confirm fitment and show you a pretty photo.

Just get a procal and a pressure gauge.

Or ignore the little light.
