2012 Auto Trans strange behavior.. opinions?

Mine would act funny, I have the 42RLE though. I saw this on the forum a couple months ago:
1) Turn the key to the on position with the jeep off.
2) Wait for the dash lights to come off, then push the accelerator to the floor 3 times, quicker will give more aggressive shift points, slower will give less aggressive shift points.
3) Turn the key to the off position.
4) Start the Jeep and drive.
This resets the transmissions "driving habits" and starts from scratch. Worked for me and works on newer Mopar automobiles with automatic transmissions.
