New throwout bearing, clutch plate and pressure plate at 300 miles. Must have been bad from the factory. Now at 3000 miles and I have the "marbles in a can" sound from tranny in 3rd and 4th gear. Took it to the dealer and they stated the noise was within tolerance. Guess I have to wait for it to get worse to get it fixed again. No offroad yet (too busy with work).

Only problems i had with mine was related to the shifter boots were too stiff causing it to pop out of 4th gear when it was around 10C or colder.

Had the dealership perform a TSB for the shifter boots and all is good again. I imagine if it was left too long it could have caused transmission problems.

I am pushing 7,000kms on mine after about 2.5 months of ownership

Not a chance, the Jeep would fall flat on its face!

Its a stupid feature that if u try to shift into second at low rpms, it automatically makes u go to 4th instead.

Not sure how you would engineer a feature like that on a standard...

I'm just about to hit the 80,000 mile mark and have had no real transmission issues. Throwout bearing went kaput at about 77,000 miles so I replaced the pressure plate and clutch disk while I was in there.

From what I understand, the NSG370 is a real tank of a transmission. (knock on wood)
