I have a 2011 silver JK unlimited sport and was disappointed when it came with the dark interior trim pieces instead of the exterior matching bright silver that is in the Sahara and Rubicon. I couldn't find the pieces anywhere online, so I ordered through the dealership for more than I care to share. Door handle pieces will be in next week.

Very easy to do the swap. Turn the vents to the left and the entire vent cover pops out. Use a small taped screw driver to pop out the "since 1941" piece as well as the door trim pieces. The bolts are fake... don't be fooled.

I was disappointed that my Bright Silver JKU has the darker accents too. But I can only imagine how much the pieces were from the dealer (PM the the total price if you dont mind). I've been thinking about just painting them.

 

I don't really mind sharing, I think it was $320 for all pieces, including the door handles. I built it into the purchase price so I didn't feel as bad. If they would only make this an option... Now I have the darker ones just sitting in the garage.

Yes. Maybe the vent inserts are the same as a 2010, but none of the other pieces existed until the 2011 model.

I have dark metallic grey vents and handle insert if anyone wants to swap.
