Default 2011 Horn swap...

Will swapping out the stock horns for something (anything) else help the delay you get when you lean on the horn or is that all horn switch in the steering wheel... It is my least favorite thing about my JK

I personally like the fact that when I am off road I do not keep "honking" my horn while bouncing around. Other than that... I am pretty sure it is in the switch in the wheel or something like that. Not sure a different horn will change this.

There should be no delay. That's an indicator that you have a bad switch. Take it in under warranty and have it fixed. Then get a set of PIAA 400/500hz. sport horns. An easy install, no relay required. Check you tube for PIAA JK horns and you can hear the difference. A huge difference on my 10 Rubi.

When I test drove the 2011 I noticed a delay in the horn when I honked it to get my Son's attention.
I thought it was strange is it suposed to do that?

No change using the Hella and I've read the same for the PIAA but these all use the exsisting wiring so it stands to reason.
