23 MPG or KMPG??? did yours come with a sail or are you driving down hill everywhere you go?

I'm at 17k on my '10 Rubi & mine doesn't use any oil at all. I change my oil every 5k & use 5w30.

On a side note I was in the dealership a few weeks ago & was checking out all of the new Grand Cherokees.

Every one of the Penstar equipped ones said the engine was made in Mexico.

I think I might wait a few years to see how that motor works out before I go out & buy one.

I have no trouble off road with mine, once in 4LO it has all the torque i could ever need offroad, and those extra 85 HP will not do much if you need to spin the motor a extra 500 RPM's to make it, when was the last trail run you were on that you saw readline?

I'm curious if you have heard of variable valve timing or variable intake tuning? The pentastar will probably make more torque from 1200 rpm and up. AND spin to 6000 rpm.

I have heard of VVT and i can't wait to see some dyno sheets from the new motor in the JK. I really can't see them pulling a good amount of torque out of this engine at lower rpms. Not enough that I would consider trading for anyway. But I hope to be proven wrong
