So basically "tweaking" the door slightly inward at tge top so more pressure is applied to the top when the door is closed?

I have heard plenty of stories on leaking hard tops too, so I guess you got lucky with yours!

I would try everything else before attempting this...not saying it wouldn't work, but I don't think anyone is for sure saying it will

I tried every fix listed in the forum and none worked for me. I took my 07 2dr in a couple of times to my local dealership (Ray Brandt Dodge) just outside New Orleans. They made a couple of attempts to fix my leaks. The fixes worked for a short time and always came back. I finally got a district rep from Chrysler involved. I brought it back today for them to asses it one more time. I told them I want a 2011 soft top to replace my leaking top. It is there overnight and they will let me know something in the morning. I will keep y'all updated. I have faith in my dealership. They always take really good care of me. They value my business.

Default Leaking Soft Top

My soft topped leaked badly in the same place when I swapped out the tops last month. I finally replaced the 6 screws (no sure what they're called) that hold the plastic door surrounds in place with actual bolts. Tightened down snug and the leaks went away. It's been monsoon season here lately and no leaks since. There was always some loosness/slop with the hand tightened bolts and it allowed too much play in the surrounds, so the seals never actually sealed.

That sounds like a good idea, I have never tried that before! Thanks
