Does anyone know if anything is different 08 bumper, other than the silver piece in the middle, than the 07 bumper? My 08 has a dent and I have someone with and 07 who is willing to give me theirs.

 

Other than the silver trim your only other consideration are cut-outs for fog lights and tow hooks.Bolt right up

 

I thought the silver trim only came on the Sahara anyway. OP is correct either will bolt right up.

I thought that too. I also thought you could get the silver trim on the 07 Saharas too. Guess not?

 

My dealer took a scratch out of my black plastic wheel fender by heating it up with a heat gun and using a cloth to mould the scratch out. Amazingly the texture of the fender is still preserved, however the area is shinier than the rest, hoping that will subside. My car was new when this was done. He told me that he does front bumpers quite a lot in the same way. If the bumper is pushed in and even grey is showing, apply heat and it may pop out, use a cloth and heat and the black may return. Of course this is if it's not major bar damage. The heat is applied in bursts, as it is possible to go too far and really melt the bar. Pretty neat I reckon. Regards to all, Dave.
