Default 17" winter tires on a 2008 with 18" stock rubber

If I put 17" winter tires (225 60R17) on my stock 2008 using steel 17" wheels will I cause any problems with anything? Or will the speedo just be off?
BTW the stock wheels are 18".
Thanks in advance.

No problem providing you get the backspacing right with the new wheels, but any shop should be able to get you sorted out there. And yes, your speedo may be off depending on the actual tire size. Be sure your replacement wheels are a 5 on 5 pattern.

Should be fine with those pizza cutters as long as the above conditions are met. I would also make the correction for them, not so much for the speedo, but for the odometer. You will be racking up miles on the odometer more than what you are actually driving.
