Default 12v defroster

Recommend me a GOOD 12v defroster.

My JK has horrible defrost capabilities. The driver side gets ice and snow buildup and then the wiper just drags it back across the windshield. My recent trip through this weeks canadian snowstorm was intolerable because of this. I had to keep reaching out to clear the ice and snow.

Amazon had about 10 of em, but they all got 1 - 2 star reviews. One even caught on fire.

I know what you mean.I drove 3 hours yesterday through the Pa. snowstorm. I had to keep reaching out and pulling the buildup off the corner.

Not sure of the brand, but i bought a little one that plugs into your lighter socket a few years ago and it works fine. Picked it up at walmart or something, has a little folding handle and is great to get those pesky corners to defrost. I think they still sell them al walmart.

Default Windshield defroster

Now that it's cold out again, im getting fog on my windshield. When I put the air on the windshield it disappears quickly all over except in one spot; the air does not reach the lower driver-side of the windshield. This is really annoying since it is difficult to see. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it?

It is an annoying problem.I wonder if the anti-fog stuff for windows would work?

Its in my basement, i will pull it out in the morning and snap a few pics. There is no instilation, it is hand held, although i did use a few pieces of velcro to hold it on the dash of my last truck. You will see what i am talking about when i get you those pics.

I don't have this problem. Chance something fell in the canyon between the dash and the windshield? Try and look through the windshield from the outside in. You may see something
