If you call listening to her bitch and nag over a missing candle free then go for it. I rather spend the 8 bucks for piece and quiet.

On the other hand if I do the 12K services myself will that void any warentee or is that warentee as good as the paper I flushed down the toliet 15 minutes ago?

I wouldn't think so if you keep the receipts for the oil, fluids, filter, gaskets etc and write it all up in your service manual.

bring it in and let them do the check but do the fluid changes urself. for diffs you do no even need to unbolt the covers. use a suction pump to get all the old fluid out from the drainage plug. then refill the up to the bottom of the fill plug. easy maintenance that takes about 15 or so minutes per diff. using the best fluid id say itll cost you $40 for both diffs then change your own oil!

A hidden camera in your Jeeps undercarriage? What a great idea.

What about the little problem with overheating in the auto trans? Would it be prudent to check your DTC codes for P0218 HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION ACTIVATED and if it shows up, then flush the trans fluids???

I just called my dealer.. as Im at 10k now... they want $170 per axle for the diff fluid change... I'll do it myself and spend the rest of my money towards a new bumper and winch, or lights.. or anything

I don't think i've ever changed the differential fluid on any of my vehicles. My sexplorer had 120,000 miles on it... my pick up had 180,000 miles on it

Granted, both were babied and never taken off road. Is it really THAT important to change the fluid every 12,000?
